Neater Eater Robotic Dining System

The Neater Eater Robotic Dining System is an advanced assistive eating device designed to restore mealtime independence for Veterans with neurological or upper-limb impairments. Featuring customizable controls, automatic plate turning, and therapist-trusted performance, it supports safe, efficient, and dignified self-feeding across a wide range of clinical settings.

The Most Advanced Assistive Eating Device

Cited in the American Journal of Occupational Therapy and backed by therapists & users who have tried a range of assistive eating devices, the Neater Eater provides a greater degree of mealtime independence when compared to other devices.

Extended Functionality

Advanced features, including automatic spoon wiping, plate turning, sauce dipping, fork mode, and adjustable scooping provide users with more options for inclusive dining experiences.

Personalized Settings

With up to 5 different profiles, users can specify mouth positions, serving speeds, custom voice commands, spoon sensitivity, and more to fit their unique needs.

Easy-Command Touchscreen Tablet

Tablet connects to Neater Eater Robotic with Bluetooth and charges wirelessly, meaning it can be placed in any easily reachable location to increase mealtime independence.

The tablet also allows customization of scoop frequency, positioning, and more for true personalization.

Voice Command Enabled

Neater Eater Robotic is now able to be controlled by a user's voice, the only dining robot currently available with this feature. Using the touchscreen tablet, the Neater Eater Robotic can be trained to recognize commands in individual voices, making daily usage simple, easy, and intuitive.

Variety of Attachments

An extensive range of cutlery, crockery, and more allows the Neater Eater to fit the needs of every meal, available for purchase separately.

Along with the detachable touchscreen tablet and voice controls, the Neater Eater also supports external switches, including Bluetooth, foot, and head switches to adapt to user needs.

All dishes come with a spool at the bottom that keeps the dish attached to the base, allowing the plate to turn for food choices. This spool also allows the Neater Eater Robotic to detect the type of dish being used to adjust the scooping method. All dishes have elevated sides to ensure food is scooped. Dishes come in two materials: ceramic and plastic. All ceramic dishes are microwaveable and dishwasher safe. Blue plastic plate is beneficial for veterans with low vision.
